Sand Lake Post Office

On December 14, 2020, I was at the Sand Lake PO & was waited on by W, the Postal Clerk. From the outset, she was very ill-mannered & made me feel inferior. I was mailing out a package to an APO & handed her everything including the completed Customs Declaration Form which she hurled back at me in an angry manner. The Customs Declaration Form is not user-friendly. Being an educated individual, I did not argue with her because I had no intention of stooping to her level of impoliteness. After everything was said & done, her manner in handling the package was distressing since she just threw the large priority mail box into the trolley. This kind of abominable behavior is not acceptable. As a corrective measure, she should undergo a remedial training in Customer Service 101. And should not be manning the PO Counter until her way of behaving towards customers is rectified. The sustainability of the USPS and its workers depend on us, the taxpayers, & as such, we should be treated fairly and with consideration. I know this are trying times but the the Post Master General who has jurisdiction over this PO should address this problem since delivering professional customer service is an important factor & will reflect well on his/her leadership.
