This post office cant seem to deliver packages to Fannett, we all have this problem out here we are in our late 70s and early 80s, don't get around well and we are suppose to go to this post office to pick up orders, its a 30 mile round trip, we get out once a month, the whole idea to have packages delivered is jut that.... we have tried to get a post office out here for a long time, we need one.
For some reason this post office cannot deliver packages and/or mail in the rural area. I don't know why they just don't have a post office in our location at Fannett TX, but they continued leave messages that Amazon packages have been left or attempted when no such action as been done. I am not the only person that has this problem. Then when you go to post office to see if they have it - it takes them 30 or more minutes to try and find it. The postman himself told me he could not find the package would try again the next day - then leaves a message that it was left in my mailbox DID NOT HAPPEN - No way was a trombone left in my mailbox. This is horrible service. I have talked to the postmaster in the past and she has no concern about this problem, just says they do not have enough trucks for delivery - then get out of the AMAZON business.
mail isn't consistent, hard to even get someone to answer the phone much less deliver a package when its supposed to be delivered
